We are thrilled that lawyers from Olswang, BBC and BBC Worldwide work with our students helping them to understand their rights and responsibilities. The students benefit hugely from spending time with the lawyers, learning to discuss legal topics and being encouraged to express, justify and defend their opinions. Meeting lawyers in a classroom environment enables our students to ask questions and see firsthand that a career in the law, or other profession, might well be achievable for them."Janina Aitken, Head of Year 10, Burlington Danes School
42% of Olswang lawyers have been involved in The Citizenship Foundation's Lawyers in Schools programme, which provides the opportunity for lawyers and trainees to discuss and explore various legal issues with students from local schools in economically and socially disadvantaged communities.
Olswang supports schools in Camden and White City. We partner with BBC lawyers at the school in White City and with Blackstone Chambers in Camden, having introduced them to the programme and run it with them.
